I have been attempting to install the driver on my PC and have thus far been unsuccessful. I am running Windows 10 Home with the 1511 update. I have tried the dongle in multiple USB ports and it shows up in device manager as BCM20702A0, which is its designation from Broadcom. Right Click the Start Button - Device Manager - Display Adapter - write down the make and complete model of your video adapter - double click - Driver's tab - write down the version info. Now click Update Driver (this may not do anything as MS is far behind certifying drivers) - then Right Click - Uninstall - REBOOT this will refresh the driver. I bought this Insignia USB Bluetooth Adapter today. When it is plugged in, it says 'Unknown USB Device (Device Descriptor Request Failed)'. I've tried installing drivers and it does nothing, they don't even recoginise it as a device. I've also tried rebooting my computer multiple times. I am also running Windows 10 if this helps.
